Dental implantation placement training, gum tissue suture practice model upper lower arches. Model feature: edentulous at #4, 13, 20, 29 allowing for four separate areas of implant placement. The edentulous ridge at crest 8mm in buccal length width allowing for larger implants be placed. There are glued in teeth #3, 5, 12, 14, 19, 21, 28, 30 with the rest in 1 piece with arch. The gum tissue is fairly delicate; and has a membrane adjacent to the bone, under the simulated gingiva, which simulates the periosteum making this the only model of its kind. The tissue is also realistic silicone which works perfect for suturing practice. The sponge bone material for edentulous areas only make for the most realistic feel when placing implants for training.
Due to the density of the model, you can make accurate CT Scan as well as an Optical Scan allowing the option to fabricate a surgical guide that is accurate to the model. This allows the ability to teach guided surgery for dental implants.
